What UP Wednesday!!!!!!!
Hey there! Its been awhile!
Linking up with Mixandmatchmama, thelarsonlingo and Pinteresttoldmeto for What Up Wednesday!!!!!
What we are eating this week…
I made Plant Hollywood’s Captain Crunch Chicken, I remember when I was little on one of our many Disney trips going to Planet Hollywood and having Captain Crunch chicken, then my mom making it a couple of times when I was growing up. I was feeling nostalgic and thought I would give it a try.
I totally forgot to take a picture of it, but it was super tasty!
You can find the recipe HERE
What I’m reminiscing about…
It’s no secret that I love a good costume. Honestly I can’t believe tomorrow is October, and now that Timothy is older and is deciding what he wants to be for Halloween I am thinking about all of his costumes that I was able to guide him into choosing haha
He still hasn’t decided what he wants to be yet….so we shall see
What I’m loving…
My Whitney English Day Designer by BlueSky
If you follow me on instagram you know I am a planner junkie, when Timothy started school I really wanted to start with an Academic planner to follow the school year. This just happened to be the time when Whitney English said that she would be doing a collaboration with BlueSky for Target. Well…. I was all over it! I was using the Simplified Planner from Emily Ley, and I love that planner but for 19.99 at Target I couldn’t resist that price point! So I went for it, and I am so happy I did! I did purchase the daily planner, I like to write all over the place so I need a daily just for the room. It has goal planner sheets in the front, Saturday and Sunday share a day, and Monday through Friday looks like this
What we have been up to…
School is in full swing and Kindergarten is going great!
Timothy had a rocky start with some crying, well a lot of crying! Once School started our lives have been all about school, T-ball, and trying to have fun along the way!
Last year I tried to take a pic of Timothy everyday, when Timothy was born a coworker (a much older gentleman) named Charlie told me how lucky I was to live in a time when we could take as many pictures of our children that we wanted. He said, “They change so much everyday and you want to be able to remember as much as you can, so take pictures all the time, take pictures everyday!”
Well it was awesome advice and I definitely take picture-taking to the extreme! But I love every minute of it!
What I’m dreading…
I am going to be 33 years old this month, I love my birthday but I dread all the physicals and checkups…basically going to the doctor in general.
What I am working on….
Well, I am the room rep for Timothy’s Kindergarten class, so I have been busy working on all the ideas I have for the students this year.
Also I have been working on the blog, I have been busy writing some Disney posts that I am hoping my peeps will find helpful when planning their vacations!
What I am excited about!
I am always excited about all the activities that go along with month of October, our town has different festivals, we go to the big pumpkin patch, and of course Halloween, but adding to it is all the fun school activates we will be during for Fall!
This is from last years pumpkin Patch!
What I’m watching
My brother just got me hooked on the show Arrow, I am only about 9 episodes in on the first season, but its AH-MAZING!!! Everything I love about superheros all wrapped up in a big bow!
P.S. I love NETFLIX
What I’m listening too…
Oldie but a goodie
I found a bunch of old CD’s from when Ryan and I first got together so I have been listening to all the songs over and over again! This was my favorite, I was surprised it still plays, I listened to it sooooooo much!
What I am wearing…
HA! Tshirts and gym shorts! Like everyday!
Its bad! I need an intervention!
What I’m doing this weekend…
T-Ball, Bridal Shower, Town Festival and my favorite, getting out all my fall decorations!
Jam pack weekend with my loves!
What I’m looking forward to next month….
Everything fall related even though its super-duper hot outside!
What else is new…
Kindergarten is no joke, so we have been practicing everyday trying to make everything fun so Timothy stays interested, this was something fun I got off Pinterest to help with his site words
What is our favorite Halloween tradition…
We have so many! Basically all things I am looking forward too! The Pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins, pumpkin flavored everything, picking out Halloween costumes, trick or treating! We love EVERYTHING fall related!
Happy October Everyone!
